SHEEN TERRACE

Our clients needed to rethink the layout of their lovely but compact Victorian terrace in East Sheen to suit the changing needs of their family. After careful consideration, the loft space became the master bedroom incorporating as much storage as possible whilst the large bedroom on the first floor was redesigned to be used by both the teenage girls, each with their own study and relaxation areas. Again, built in storage was essential to ensure that every inch of space worked hard for them. We introduced a fun palette of pinks and greens to brighten the spaces and incorporated some lovely fabrics for texture and pattern. We worked hard to ensure that the colours worked seamlessly throughout the house, particularly important when trying to enhance the feeling of space.

The design phase took 2 months whilst the building work took 3 months. Light touch project management by Hurst+Gillanders
